Great Bag For Bikers
I’ve been using this biker specific backpack for a couple of weeks now and this being the great British Summer have had a few chances to test it’s waterproofing.
The main selling point of this back is that it has a number of ways that you can use it to carry your helmet around while off the bike ,or a spare if you’re heading out to pick up a passenger. I prefer to put my helmet inside the bag. There’s a carry strap on the side but that throws the weight of the helmet to one side which is awkward when walking as it bounces against you leg. There’s also a clever “webbing” that attaches the helmet to the back of the bag if whatever you’ve got inside means there’s no room. This is fine but makes the whole thing quite large and you really need to be careful in shops or other confined spaces not to inadvertently bump people, bang into supermarket shelves etc. I find putting my helmet inside much more satisfactory, that still leaves plenty of room to stash waterproofs,a bottle of water and a few other bits and pieces.
The bag is described as “water resistant” and in normal rain it’s proved to stay completely dry inside. For heavier rain there’s a fully waterproof cover in a small pocket that I feel is a bit of a lost opportunity. It does work but it’s a bit of a faff and the clip that holds it in place is quite fiddly. I have 2 rucksacks with built rain covers and both just pull down from their pocket in seconds. With this bag the whole thing pulls out ,has to be placed carefully then the fiddly clip engaged. It’s not a massive deal but if you’re caught in a downpour it’s a bit more hassle than it should be,likewise if you do a bit of shopping and it’s raining outside it’s a couple of minutes messing around instead of seconds with my old faithful rucksack. Only a minor quibble but often it’s the details that make a difference. There is a connector for the outer “helmet web” inside that pocket but I’m sure the manufacturers could have fixed the cover and kept that as well.
That minor niggle aside, and to be honest most “Bikers” these days are fair weather riders anyway so a rain cover being fiddly wouldn’t be the end of the world, the bag is very well-made and thought out.Whether you use then or not both the helmet strap and the web are great ideas,as are the waterproofing and reflective details apparent when you inspect the bag
There are all kinds of compartments and pockets ,the bag is tough and ideal for day to day all weather use.
As a sign of their confidence in their product the manufacturers off a 2 Year “replace or refund” guarantee.

I think this backpack is a bargain for the price, quality is amazing compared to other ones I’ve had, it looks great the padding makes it so comfortable when riding and it’s very spacious.
I would personally buy this myself the price is very accessible for what you get and the quality is great.
A solid Rucksack with an effective helmet carrier mechanism
I really like this rucksack, there are loads of internal pockets for nicknacks and even a laptop/tablet pocket that sits against your back. I have yet to wear it in the rain, so I cannot vouch for the effectiveness of the waterproofing, but it comes with an additional rain cover too. The helmet sling and hanging loop are well made and hold a skidlid for even my big head!
Rugged, well made, excellent.
This is a great gift. I used this as part of a leaving gift for a friend of mine who left the military.
He was overjoyed with it. He bikes everywhere and its just such a good product. To be able to carry the helmet around in the bag is a godsend he says.
So i had a look at it before i gave it to him. I have to commend the manufacturer of this bag as well as whoever thought of it.
The bag itself is super strong, good solid stitch work, really heavy duty. Plenty of room for helmet storage and other items as well.
The design is great, nice and streamline with some good padding on the back. This ensures there is maximum comfort while riding.
The straps are solid too. Very heavy weight. Sturdy.
Waterproofing is excellent. The whole bag being waterproof makes it perfect for the British summer time.
Cannot fault this bag. There has obviously been a tonne of thought going into this.
Although it doesn’t look much, it has plenty of features to keep a motorcyclist happy. Cracking.
